The Fisher Price iXL Learning System is here for Christmas

Recommended for 3 - 6 year olds, the Fisher Price iXL Learning System is a PDA type toddler friendly toy. It consists of a child's Digital Book Reader, Game Player, Digital Art Book, MP3 Music Player, Notepad and Photo Viewer all in one. The Book Reader comes with an interactive story that's engaging and fun, plus helps kids learn how to read easily and in an entertaining way. Notepad helps with language skills - kids can practice writing numbers and letters with easy guides and positive feedback. They'll be able to flip through their photos just as they can on mom and dad's phone or draw on them in the Art Book. And the MP3 Music Player isn't limited to the pre-loaded songs since parents can transfer their kids' favorite songs and photos from a Mac or PC via USB or an SD card.



The pink, blue or silver base device comes with already pre-loaded with software for the various applications listed so there will be no disappointment on Christmas morning. Included is a USB cable and software CD that is loaded with both PC management software and base software. The handheld device has a 3.5" TFT QVGA color screen, built in speaker, action button, tethered stylus, headphone jack, SD memory card slot, and built-in memory to hold the base and additional software. It uses 4 AA batteries for operation (not included). The battery life is approximately 8 hours, although the system also goes into sleep mode when it is shut.



The Fisher Price iXL has some great preloaded software, but they are also releasing optional software with all of your child's favorite characters, including Disney Princesses, Batman, Toy Store and more. Each CD features six applications: 1 storybook, 3 games with levels, Notepad with licensed stationary, music player with a custom interface, no content, Art Studio that includes 5 color backgrounds, 5 line art backgrounds, 5 blank backgrounds, 10 or more stamps and customized full screen erase and a photo album with content specific to the character.
